Shari Kain has been involved in athletics her entire life. She played volleyball for UC Santa Barbara, before starting a career as a professional cyclist. She raced on both the US National Road Cycling
Team (1991-1994), as well as the US National Mountain Bike National Team (1996-2002). She is an Xterra World Champion (1999-Off-Road Triathlon), as well as a 2-Time Cyclo-Cross National Champion (1994 & 1996). She was an alternate on the US Olympic Mountain Bike Team in 2000. She has trained athletes of all ages for years in all sports. She has been a personal trainer since 1989 and enjoys working with all ages and abilities. Shari is married and has two children and lives in Scotts Valley.
