Ilana Holt
Exercise has been a big part of my life since I was a child. I was always extremely energetic growing up, and my parents put me in a myriad of sports to keep me active and busy. My athletic background mostly includes track and field and cross country, which I participated in throughout middle school and high school.
I have a background in the science of human movement (kinesiology). I earned my B.S. in kinesiology from the University of San Francisco in 2018, and I am always trying to keep up to date with new scientific studies in the exercise and fitness realms.
After I graduated from college, I ended up tearing my ACL from a bouldering accident. I used this experience to get stronger and made it my goal to put on more muscle and gain more strength than I originally had before my accident. This propelled me into the world of weightlifting, which I have been actively learning since 2019.
I don’t believe there’s a one-size-fits-all routine when it comes to working out. I am someone who is passionate about individualizing exercise and fitness routines for each person that I work with. My instinct is that you have to love what you're doing in order to stick with it, and so far, this has proven to be true.
